The Spark
It started with a different observation: law firms and corporate legal teams were starting to adopt AI with no governance layer at all — no risk classification, no traceability, no control over which model processed which data. Working with firms and companies across different countries, we saw the same pattern everywhere: the technology was moving faster than the ability to audit it. Founded in 2023, Arteclaw emerged from that gap, bringing together 20+ years of combined experience from software engineers, lawyers, and creatives who saw the opportunity to build that governance infrastructure by design, not as an afterthought patch.
Our Philosophy
We believe technology should amplify human judgment, not replace it. In regulated industries — law, healthcare, finance, government — AI errors have real consequences for real people. That is why we build infrastructure where the model proposes and the professional validates: with verifiable sources, explicit human oversight, and an audit trail that lets you answer "how did the AI reach this response?" with evidence, not faith.
